Things every living room needs 1. Area Rug- Don’t let potential red wine stains scare you away from adding a big rug to your space. Seriously, the bigger the better. Kind of. Not only does an area rug pull the whole room together, it’s an easy way to add some color or pattern to your home as well. To make sure you order the right size, you’ll want to be sure that the front legs of each piece of furniture will be touching the rug. Also, make sure you have no floating furniture meaning that every piece of furniture in the room will be touching the rug. No outliers! Image Via Emily Henderson 2. Speaking of floating- Make sure you have something under your tv even if it’s
Porch décor we’re falling for this season… 1. Let there be light! These woven lanterns are the perfect finishing touch for any porch. Pop in an electric candle to give off a beautiful glow, and you’re golden! Summer is officially here and today we’ve rounded up some of the chicest AND affordable patio furniture we could find. Natural elements are the trend this summer making for a boho chic and warm & minimal space. Below are what we’ve rounded up (and linked!) Be sure to comment what you think, stay kozy! First up is this Slope Lounge chair from West Elm. I love this design, they have it in dining chairs and barstools as well. The rattan seat and metal base create the ultimate bohemian haven. Another lounger we’re loving is this Lucara Lounge from Article. The Rattan frame with the woven legs is so so chic. The seat cushion is plush for added comfort and the fabric can withstand any weather!
