Porch décor we’re falling for this season…
1. Let there be light!
These woven lanterns are the perfect finishing touch for any porch. Pop in an electric candle to give off a beautiful glow, and you’re golden! I love the color of these lanterns because it makes them so transitional between seasons, so you can use them for years to come! Definitely a must-have!
2. Fellow plant ladies, this is for you!
If for some reason you can’t keep plants alive (ahem, myself included), the best thing you can do is at least have a gorgeous planter as a distraction. These textured pots are stunning, and the size is perfect to add a little wow factor to your porch. They come in 3 different sizes which is great for adding some dimension to the space. Fill with any plants you want (or in my case, really good fake ones!) and enjoy!
3. If you don’t have a huge front porch area, adding an outdoor wall sconce (or two!) is an easy way to add some style.
I love this style by Joss and Main, but there are so many options to choose from that you’ll have no problem finding something to match your aesthetic. I also love adding outdoor lights because then you can just turn them off and pretend you’re not home if you’re trying to hide from in-laws that love to show up at your house unannounced…no? just me? Cool. Anyway, you need these lights.
4. Not your mama’s wreath!
I remember my mom buying wreaths for every season and her always being shocked at how expensive they were. Well, this personalized wreath can go with you from Winter to Summer without breaking the bank. Leave this hanging all year round and just add some pumpkins in fall, reindeer in winter, flowers in spring, and margaritas in summer….just kidding. Kind of. Anyway, what I’m trying to say is that this wreath is beautiful on its own and can add that finishing touch to your outdoor space. I love it (and I’m ordering one now!).
5. Wipe your feet, just on my nice rug.
Actually, you CAN wipe your feet on this rug since it’s washable! If you haven’t heard of Ruggable yet, you need to! These are washable rugs-WASHABLE-meaning you can toss them in the washing machine. Honestly, genius. I love the outdoor options from Ruggable because the colors are amazing and there is such a variety to choose from! We’ve all seen the welcome mats on top of a bigger mat underneath, which I love, but this is a great way to make that a little more unique. Do yourself a favor and order one of the rugs stat so you can be the least basic (and most stylish) house on the block.
